Switzerland’s biggest crypto exchange announces record revenues for last year and bolsters its top ranks with industry experts.
Bitcoin Suisse’s consolidated revenues reached 145 million Swiss francs last year, up 140 percent over the prior year, with its staking services driving record results, it said in an emailed statement Friday.
The crypto exchange also beefed up its workforce by 60 percent, racking up almost 300 employees, it said.
Bitcoin Suisse also announced that it has made Barbara Hofkamp chief corporate services officer on its management committee. Like the company’s CEO Dirk Klee, Hofkamp joins the crypto company from UBS, where she was chief of staff for global wealth management.

Furthermore, lawyer and crypto-banking expert Gabriela Hauser-Spuehler will be joining its board of directors.
